Pina Colada Smoothie

High protein, high fibre, pineapple and coconut smoothie, with cauliflower

the fibre in this smoothie comes from cauliflower. As a cruciferous vegetable it can cause gas for some, phase in gently if you're not used to this, you can always swap for courgette.

Remember to make your smoothies thick & spoonable, with an element of texture so you have to chew. This triggers your satiety response but also prevents bloating by switch on the digestive system.

Ingredients

  • 100g frozen cauliflower
  • 75g frozen pineapple
  • 1 serving protein power (equal to 30g protein)
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (from a can, gum free)
  • 1 large handful of ice
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tablespoon whole psyllium husk

Preparation
