A favourite for hormone & heart health, this is both naturally sweet, slightly earthy, & an amazing health tonic.

Remember to make your smoothies thick & spoonable, with an element of texture so you have to chew. This triggers your satiety response but also prevents bloating by switch on the digestive system.

Ingredients

  • 1 big handful parsley
  • 75g steamed or roasted beetroot
  • 50g frozen courgette
  • 50g frozen berries
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 serving protein powder (equal to 30g protein)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon each psyllium husk & ground flaxseed
  • 2-3cm each of fresh gingre & turmeric

Preparation
