A glorious & quite savoury green smoothie that harnesses the power of natural antihistamine rich ingredients.

Remember to make your smoothies thick & spoonable, with an element of texture so you have to chew. This triggers your satiety response but also prevents bloating by switch on the digestive system.

Ingredients

  • 1 big handful parsley & a few sprigs of fresh mint
  • 50g fresh watercress
  • 50g frozen broccoli
  • 50g frozen peas
  • 100g frozen courgette or squash
  • 50g frozen pineapple
  • 1 serving protein powder (equal to 30g protein)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2-3cm each of fresh ginger & turmeric

Preparation

Blend everything, then top with a handful of chopped macadamias, pecans or postachios.
