Sea Spaghetti Burgers

Sea vegetables are a bounty of goodness. Rich in vitamins, iron, folate, calcium, copper & magnesium to offer.

It's high in fibre, which feeds gut bacteria, balances blood sugar levels & promotes feelings of satiety. And has trace minerals of iodine which supports the thyroid.

You don’t need much, 1-2 servings a week is dandy, & I haven’t yet mentioned how great they taste. Yes some are stronger than others so ease yourself in, or grab something like seasoning/flakes & sprinkle them on your meals as you go.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked sea spaghetti (I get mine from Atlantic Kitchen)
  • 300g chicken mince
  • 1 bunch shredded greens of choice
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together with your hands, form 4 patties & place in a hot dry pan to seal for 1 minute on each side.

Transfer to a tray & bake at 200°C for 10 mins until cooked through.

Serve with your favourite greens.
