A delicious & evidenced based way to improve blood glucose sensitivity is to use herbs & spices! 

Coriander, parsley, chilli cumin, fenugreek, garlic, ginger & turmeric all showed positive effects in remedying that underlying issues with cell communication, & then if you add an amazing cold pressed olive or avocado oil into the mix, like this chimichurri recipe, you've addressed another element of the equation (inflammation) too.

Ingredients

  • 1 shallot
  • 1 chilli
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • large bunch each of parsley & coriander
  • ½ cup raw apple cider vinegar
  • extra virgin olive/avocado oil
  • plenty of black pepper
  • heaped tablespoon of dried oregano

Preparation

Finely chop the shallots, chilli, garlic cloves, capers, parsley & coriander. Add to a bowl with the apple cider vinegar, just enough oil to cover, plenty of back pepper & the dried oregano.

Mix & eave to infuse for 5-10 minutes.

Serve as a sauce drizzled over a mea or use as an overnight marinade for beef, chicken, or fish.
