Plums are a brilliant superfood for a number of reasons; They can aid with weight management, blood pressure, and good digestive health, as well as being packed with a rich arsenal of antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 plums
  • 1-2 chopped apples
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

Halve and de-stone the plums.

Place them in a pan and add the apples, juice of 1 orange, and water.

Cover and bring to a simmer, then leave to cook for around 10-15 minutes until soft.

Enjoy hot, cold, by itself, atop porridge or muddled through yoghurt.
