Enter stage right my delicious fruit free, high protein, antioxidant abundant green smoothie recipe. It’s bursting with goodness, it’s absolutely divine, & if you can shift your mindset (which is often the hardest part) it’s basically just ice cream for breakfast (or lunch or dinner) which I don’t think anyone would turn down.

Remember to make your smoothies thick & spoonable, with an element of texture so you have to chew. This triggers your satiety response but also prevents bloating by switch on the digestive system.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup roasted spaghetti squash
  • 1 serving protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup yoghurt of choice
  • 1/4 cup celery or cucumber juice
  • 2 tablespoons each finger & turmeric juice (or use fresh/powdered & add more liquid)
  • 1 heaped cup frozen peas
  • TO SERVE - 2 tablespoons raw cacao nibs, 1 heaped teaspon nut butter

Preparation

Blitz everything together in a blender & top with cacao nibs.
